Messy Play – Terms & Conditions 1. Participation & Supervision All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The supervising adult is fully responsible for their child’s behaviour, safety, and interaction with equipment and materials during the session. 2. Nature of Messy Play Messy play sessions may include (but are not limited to) paint, water, foam, food items, natural materials, sensory substances, and other age-appropriate messy resources. By booking, you acknowledge that: Messy play is inherently messy Clothing, footwear, and personal belongings may become stained or damaged Some materials may be difficult or impossible to remove from fabrics Old clothes are strongly recommended. 3. Allergies, Sensitivities & Medical Conditions It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to inform the session leader in advance of any: Allergies (including food, skin, or material sensitivities) Medical conditions Additional needs or requirements While every effort is made to use child-safe and non-toxic materials, participation is at your own discretion. 4. Health, Safety & Hygiene All materials and equipment are cleaned between sessions, and good hygiene practices are followed. However, parents/carers acknowledge that: Children may put materials in their mouths despite supervision Sensory materials may cause mild irritation in rare cases Any child who is unwell should not attend the session. 5. Risk & Liability Participation in messy play is entirely at your own risk. The session provider, venue, and staff cannot be held responsible for: • Minor injuries • Allergic reactions • Loss or damage to clothing or personal belongings Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded by law. 6. Photography & Social Media Photos or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not consent to your child appearing in images, please notify us in advance. 7. Behaviour For safety reasons: Rough play is not permitted Equipment must be used as intended The session leader reserves the right to ask any participant to leave if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive 8. Cancellations & Refunds Bookings are non-refundable unless the session is cancelled by the provider. In the event of cancellation, a refund or alternative session will be offered. 9. Acceptance of Terms By booking and attending a messy play session, you confirm that you have read, understood, agreed to our Terms & Conditions
