PEEK-A-BOO! 🙈

PEEK-A-BOO! 🙈

We regularly play Peek-a-boo in class, it's such a simple game but so developmentally important!

It helps little ones understand the concept of object permanence (that things exist, even when they can't see them - great for handling separation anxiety).

They start to recognise patterns, build anticipation, and express surprise (and maybe a cute giggle!) when you magically reappear!

And finally, they develop gross motor skills as they start to reach for the scarf to pull away from your face, or even cover their own.

Everything we do in class has a purpose, and we take great care to plan our sessions to support the development of your little ones!
